W. Lee Roper, II was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on December 10, 1965. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1991. Mr. Roper received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude from Wofford College in 1988. He then attended the University of South Carolina from which he received a Juris Doctor degree in 1991. He also received an LL.M. in taxation from Emory University in 1992. Mr. Roper served as Greenwood County Attorney from 1998 to 2000. He is a member of the Greenwood County Bar and the American Bar Association, as well as the South Carolina Bar. His main areas of practice are Corporate and Business Law, Estate Planning, Probate Administration, and Tax Law.
