Steven M. Pruitt was born in Anderson, South Carolina on December 27, 1966. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1993. Mr. Pruitt received a Bachelor of Science degree from Erskine College in 1989. He then attended the University of South Carolina from which he received a Juris Doctor degree in 1993. While at U.S.C. School of Law, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi, the John Belton O'Neil Inn of Court from 1992-1993. Mr. Pruitt was a member of the South Carolina Law Review from 1991-1993, wherein he was the Managing Editor from 1992-1993, and won the Editors Award for 1992-1993. He is a member of the Greenwood County Bar and the American Bar Association, as well as the South Carolina Bar. His main areas of practice are Litigation and Insurance Practice.
